Sarocharu Movie Review

Film: Sarocharu
Rating:2.75/5
Starring: Ravi Teja,Kajal Agarwal,Richa Gangopadhyay
Director: Parasuram
Producer: Priyanka Dutt
Banner: Three Angels Studios
Music: Devi Sri Prasad

Story:

Sandhya (Kajal), who is a college student falls in love with Karthik (Ravi Teja) at a first sight and she proposes him. But Karthik doesn’t accept her and tells her his past in a flight back to India. Karthik reveals about his love and married life with Vasu (Richa Gangopadhyay) and they are seeking to take divorce. When Sandhya believes all this and there comes a twist that changes entire situations. what is the twist and whom will Karthik end up with forms the crux.

Performances:

Ravi Teja does a classy role in the film unlike his previous mass masala typical comedy roles. His expressions are good, while he limits his energy levels.

Nara Rohit has done a special role and he has done a fine job in the movie. His role lasts for 25 minutes and scenes featuring him shaped up well.

Kajal Agarwal’s tomboy role in the first half is good and she impresses with her expressions. Kajal has gained weight and she need to take care on it.

Richa Gangopadhyay is cute and her role adds weight to the movie, Jayasudha is good, MS Narayana is hilarious, Srinivas Reddy is wasted. Others were adequate.

Technical Analysis:

Vijay Chakravarthy’s cinematography is classy and the songs and scenes in Europe locales are beautifully captured. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is good while the background score is ear-pleasing. Editing could have been crisp in the first half. Parasuram direction is okay while the dialogues are good.

Analysis:

Parasuram tried to showcase Ravi Teja in a class romantic role but the problem is Ravi Teja looked old for the character of Karthik. MS Narayana comedy evokes laughter providing you the relief in the first half. The lead character turns preachy that takes you to boredom. The pace of the film drops here and there while the songs placement hampers the narration flow. DSP composed songs are shot well in European locations. Editing could have been crisp in the first half. It’s only the second half that impresses you slightly with a couple of twists though they don’t make a tough guess for the regular moviegoers. Nara Rohit’s cameo is interesting and he has acted well. Parasuram standout in dialogues department than the direction. However, as per the screenplay and pace the second half is far better than the former and there are few certain good moments.

Final Verdict:

Saarocharu has few good moments that makes a decent one time watch.
